Files in Folders
The Files in Folders section shows a visual map of files inside their folders. It helps you see not only which files are large, but also where they are located in the folder structure. Move the cursor over any brick to view the file or folder name and path, or select a brick to highlight the matching item in the tree below.
Only Files
The Only Files section focuses on individual files and displays them from largest to smallest. It is useful for quickly finding huge videos, archives, installers, backups, images, and other files that take up the most disk space. The list below the graph provides detailed information such as file name, path, size, percentage, and modified date.
Only Folders
The Only Folders section gives a clear graphical representation of folder sizes. Large folders appear as large blocks, helping you quickly identify which directories consume the most storage. The folder tree below the graph lets you compare folders by size, percentage, and file count.
Duplicates
The Duplicates section helps you find repeated files visually. Duplicate groups are displayed as bricks, while the tree below groups matching files together and shows how many copies were found. This view is useful for detecting duplicate downloads, repeated installers, copied backups, and other unnecessary file copies.
Smart Color Coding by File Extension
FileBricks uses consistent color coding for file extensions. Files with the same extension are always displayed with the same color, so you can visually separate file types while analyzing disk space.
Scan Filters for More Focused Results
Before scanning, you can exclude files using practical filters. FileBricks can ignore files modified before a selected date, skip files smaller than a chosen size, or exclude files using wildcard patterns such as image extensions, temporary files, or custom filename masks.
